Jeff McNeill, Director
Jeff McNeill serves as the Director of Alamance County Veteran Services, where he is committed to ensuring veterans, service members, and their families receive the benefits, services, and recognition they have earned through their military service.
A Gulf War Army veteran, Jeff brings both personal experience and extensive professional expertise to veteran advocacy. Before joining Alamance County, he served in leadership positions with veteran service offices in North Carolina and South Carolina and previously worked as a Veterans Service Representative with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His background includes years of experience assisting veterans with disability compensation claims, appeals, survivor benefits, healthcare enrollment, education benefits, and connecting them with vital community resources.
Jeff is nationally and state accredited as a Veteran Service Officer and has advanced training in the VA claims and appeals process. He is passionate about removing barriers to care, expanding outreach throughout the community, and building strong partnerships with local organizations to better serve Alamance County’s veteran population. His leadership emphasizes accessibility, education, innovation, and compassionate service to every veteran who walks through the office doors.
Jeff is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Executive Leadership and holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. He believes every veteran deserves knowledgeable advocacy, respectful service, and a dedicated team committed to helping them navigate the benefits they have earned.
